We fully support the NHS Zero Tolerance policy. Any individual who verbally or physically abuses GPs, staff, or other patients—or behaves in a threatening manner—may face removal from the practice list, in some cases with immediate effect. In extreme circumstances, the police may be called to remove offenders from the premises.
If a patient breaches our Zero Tolerance policy, they will receive a written warning, and the incident will be recorded in their medical record. Repeated breaches or serious incidents may result in permanent removal from the practice list, and the patient will be notified of this in writing.
